HIGHER BODEN is a lovely old farm which is mentioned in the Domesday Book.

Located on the Lizard peninsula, two miles from the Helford River and the sea, it is an ideal location for the reclusive as well as those with active families.

The property comprises of a Grade II farmhouse, thatched Granary and stables. As the farm is no longer working, the outbuildings have been converted into dwellings.

THE BARN

The old stone barn has been sensitively converted to accommodate up to 10 people. With coloured lime washed walls, original features and polished flagstone floors, the Barn retains its simple country charm and unique character.

Furnished throughout with essentially rustic, antique furniture, there are 2 night store heaters in the reception rooms, electric fires in every room and an open fireplace in the sitting room.

There is beautiful countryside, with woodland walks and fresh sea breezes along the many coastal footpaths for which this area is renowned. We welcome dogs.

If you are a family with children to please, then consider The Barn at Higher Boden Farm as a natural, safe place for them to run and feel free. Family days out are within reach and the nearest beach is a 5 minute drive.
