Here is the place for a truly memorable holiday. White Feather stands by itself on the cliffs above Cadgwith Cove. Large picture windows give you magnificent panoramic views over the bay and so you are able to enjoy the sea in all its moods. Within moments you can walk onto the cliff path and down into the cove or alternatively Lizard Point is about half an hour's walk away. The coastal and inland walks around this area are some of the best in Cornwall. White Feather is a comfortable house on one level designed in the 1960s and built in two wings. The owners live in the south part of the house - they are both artists and their work and style is much in evidence. The house is approached along a private drive and has a patio and large garden overlooking the sea.
Ground floor entrance hallway. Space for shoes, coats etc and airing cupboard. Shower room with hand basin and WC. Very spacious lounge/dining room: a truly spectacular room with windows on two sides looking over the sea and cliffs towards Cadgwith. Very comfortably furnished and has a double sofabed. Colour TV, video, DVD and music centre. Wood burning stove. Kitchen: equipped with electric cooker, large fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Bathroom: with bath, bidet, washbasin and WC. Main bedroom: with brass double bed and sea views.
Electricity: inclusive May - September. Garden/Patio area at both sides of property: table and chairs provided. Parking: plenty of parking space. Heating: open fire, oil-fired central heating, for a contribution to fuel costs. Special notes: the property may not be suitable for children under 5 as the terrace is open edged with a drop of about 5 feet into the garden.

Just spent a long weekend in White Feather in atrocious weather, which just made the stay at the cottage all the more romantic.  Great location for a quiet getaway, close to sleepy fishing village.  Owners were very welcoming, helpful and respected our privacy perfectly.  Fantastic location for walking too, being just yards from the coastal path.  we loved it and will be back !!

What a wonderful holiday we had. Wonderful accommodation, with amazing sea view, great comfort, and wonderful, very welcoming owners. Considering we were there in January, even the weather was good for us! What more can we say. The whole stay was first class. Thanks to all concerned

It really was a privilege to stay at this property. The owners were very welcoming but at the same time giving us complete privacy. We were particulary happy to stay somewhere where the decor was pleasing and tasteful, and full of light. In our experience this is not always the case, very often our holiday rentals look as though they have been furnished by great aunt Maud's house clearance.

How wonderful it was to be able to walk through the garden gate, on to the coastal path, glass of wine in hand, and sit on a bench to watch the roll of the waves beneath.Cadgwith itself was a joy, we sensed a great community spirit at the bbq night and the gig racing.

We are really looking forward to experiencing it all over again at Christmas.

Thank you for having us!
