August 2009:- We have just come back from a two week holiday in Cornwall. We stayed in St Clahar cottage in Ruan Minor. St Clahar is a beautiful cottage, clean, bright, spacious and beautifully situated. We are a family of five and the cottage provided ample living space. All the rooms were large and well furnished. The kitchen is well equipped and has all the facilities you would require: dishwasher, double oven, large fridge freezer, ample glassware etc.
The position of the cottage is perfect, within easy distance of Helston, Falmouth, St Austell, St Ives, The Lizard and Land's End, as well as access to some beautiful coves and beaches within relatively short distances. The area is peaceful and hardly any traffic, so very safe for children. The cottage has parking for two cars which is very handy, as parking can be a problem.
We would definitely recommend St Clahar and would most definitely book again.

We stayed at Bona Vista for the May Bank holiday/half term week. The property was very well presented. Everything was immaculate and flowers and welcome tray were a really nice touch. Beds were comfortable and rooms were spacious. The kitchen was very well equipped and everything was brand new. We liked the location of the property and it was within a short car drive to beaches and pubs. Our party consisted of my mother who is almost eighty and the downstairs bedroom and shower room were particularly well appointed and she did not have to go upstairs so this would suit anyone with mobility problems. Our grandson of five loved the gallery/office area and the garden. He also liked observing the cows in the opposite field!
We were very lucky with the weather and the sun shone every day. Although the cottage was on a main road we found it quiet and peaceful. Adequate parking for two cars and with two double bedrooms, bunk beds and a single bed this cottage could easily sleep two couples and three children. We would recommend this cottage but would like to keep it to ourselves for a holiday next year!

What fantastic accomodation, 4 adults, 3 kids and still spacious, the house was lovely and clean on arrival, modern and very well equipped and the welcome pack was much appreciated after 13 hours on the road! Lovely garden and patio to relax in after a long day sightseeing!
Bona Vista was ideally situated for sightseeing, there's lots of interesting places nearby, and it was great that we had our pick of several really good beaches all within 5 minutes drive of the house, the family were so pleased we picked Bona Vista to stay at. I would recommend Bona Vista to anyone wanting to visit Cornwall, it was home from home, there again I am probably shooting myself in the foot as the family want to return next year and it will more than likely be booked up!
