Corner House, as featured in English Cottage Interiors by Hugh Lander, is a delightful traditional fisherman’s cottage. It is full of character with a lovely old polished Cornish range at one end of the 22 ft living room. Situated only 100 yards from the sea, the cottage stands at the beginning of one of the cliff walks, which runs to an old mill and then on to Kennack Sands. A visitor once wrote “The house wrapped its arms around us immediately and gave us a big hug. We loved it!!”

Ground floor: Living/Dining room with Cornish range and “fringle” (an old bread oven) now used to keep coal for the open fire. Sky digital Colour TV, video and CD player. Kitchen: newly fitted with south facing stable door to look out onto the cliff path. Bathroom: with bath, washbasin and shower point. First floor: Double bedroom with views along the coast path. Twin bedroom. Single bedroom. WC with small basin. Patio: completely private small rear patio providing a veritable suntrap. Sun loungers are provided. Parking: space for one car only. Heating: night storage and solid fuel (coal inc. in rental). Special notes: the cottage has low beams and doorways so it may be necessary to duck now and again!
