Have yourself
a very wonderful holiday here. Away from everyday hustle and bustle
Crackling Cottage offers you a magical spot to enjoy the Lizard
Peninsula. The house (about 400 years old) has been newly refurbished
to a very high standard while retaining lots of traditional character.
As you drive along the pretty Cornish lanes nearer and nearer to
the coast this farm is found at the very end of those roads
there is only a footpath to the sea and the coastal footpath which
leads to one of the most private beaches in the area, Downas. Coverack
is only a five minute drive (about half an hours walk) and
here you will find one of Cornwalls most delightful villages
with thatched cottages, a picturesque harbour, a good pub, cafes,
restaurants and interesting shops and art galleries. There is a
sandy beach and an opportunity to try windsurfing for the more energetic!
