Discovering all the wonders of the Lizard Peninsula is only one of the pleasures of spending a holiday here. Here at Downas Cottage you have the benefit of extremely comfortable accommodation with easy access to some of the loveliest locations in this area. Kennack Sands, a wonderful sandy beach with safe bathing and interesting rock pools, is only a 10 minute walk away. The cottage is actually named after another nearby beach, albeit tidal. Downas is one of the prettiest beaches around – and worth a steep climb down! You are never far away from the sea and the villages of Cadgwith, Ruan Minor and The Lizard are only a very short drive or slightly longer walk away. This house is newly built but has lots of character, limewashed stone floors and much use of natural wood making this a very desirable stay offering all modern facilities with a traditional feel.
