Guestbook comments for Kernyk:-

The Naldi Family, Milan, Italy. 2011

This is a lovely cottage. We had a wonderful holiday in Kernyk. A great and strategic base for visits and exploring the Southwest of Cornwall. The beach and the cove are beautiful. The cottage was supplier of all. We enjoyed our holiday.

The Calvers 2011

Our second stay at this peaceful cottage and very enjoyable again. Had good weather most of the week and had a great time on Kynance Cove and Poldhu Cove. Also enjoyed the vintage car rally at the Lizard and the Cadgwith Regatta, both on the bank holiday Sunday. Kids enjoyed the croquet! Hope to be back next year.

The Jacksons 2011

First visit to the Lizard and like the area. Nice cottage. Good location: easy walk to Cadgwith and Ruan Minor Post office. Had nice walks, especially via coast path to the Lizard Lighthouse. We liked visiting the Cornish Camels – it’s free and the camels are fun to feed! Betty Stoggs fine at the Cadgwith Cove Inn and great fish and chips at the Old Cellars restaurant.

The Sibandas 2010

"What a lovely place and a lovely week. Enjoyed every moment here, we really loved the house, everything is so homely, can't wait to come back again next summer here at Kernyk. Thanks very much."

The Gibsons 2010

"Lovely and homely, clean and tidy-fantastic relaxing week, great walks, delicious food at nearby Cadgwith Cove Inn. Would definitely come again! Thank you."

"I came visiting and found it to be the best place to relax. The house is stunning, had a pleasant time in it. Thanks for everything."

The Coupe family 2010

"A thoroughly enjoyable week's stay. We recommend eating at The Old Cellars and coffee at Minnie Moon (both in Cadgwith) and Kennack Sands for rockpooling, boogie boarding and general beachy fun."

"Awesome house...I liked the garden and I saw a grasshopper and a bat. Kennack sands has a great beach."

"This house is really cool. There are lots of birds in the garden and horses in the field next to the path to Ruan Minor."

The Young family 2010

"A fantastic holiday! A lovely place to stay, fantastic community feel. Some fab local beaches. Great wild life. Really enjoyed our local produce, veggies (peppers, tomatoes, courgettes and red onions) roasted in olive then put into fresh eggs from farm up the road to make a fantastic omelette! If you want to eat in the pub the food is very good but if you want to eat inside, booking is definitely essential. Much better than a home from home."

Sue and Stephen and dogs 2010

"Thank you again!! The Lizard has worked its magic with the most wonderful weather. have enjoyed garden birdwatching, especially the goldfinches on the niger seed feeder. Looking forward to coming back in September"

"Sadly home tomorrow after another lovely week. Lucky with the weather except today and even now (late afternoon) sun is shining!! Visited lovely places on the Helford River and had a surf at Sennen. Saw a pod of dolphins at Kynance and many happy memories."

Munn and McGoen family 2009

"Kernyk is a beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings and we have had a great holiday. We have seen some lovely wildlife including a green woodpecker, bats and frogs. Barn owls hooting at night and cockrels in the morning, magical. We appreciated the little considerations such as bird seeds in the feeder, the book shelves and DVDs. The milk from Gwavas farm was the best milk we have tasted in years!

Friedrich family, Germany 2009

"We enjoyed our holiday very much. Kerynk is such a cosy cottage - a great base for exploring the South West. From the first minute we felt like at home. After the gorgeous hikes, vists of beautiful gardens and an impressive performance at Minack Theatre we found here always a comfortable place to relax."
