Midway between the east and west facing coasts is a development of one- and two-bedroom purpose built chalets and bungalows that are privately owned and let out for holidays. They provide very reasonably-priced accommodation, excellent value when compared to renting a caravan or paying for bed and breakfast. There are extensive lawned areas that provide safe playing space for children or sitting-out space for their parents. The Lizard, Ruan Minor and Cadgwith are all within 5 minutes drive. One of the most beautiful beaches in England, Kynance Cove, is less than a mile away.

At the edge of Trevelyan is a row of larger bungalows with west facing gardens providing communal but secluded space for sitting out and barbecues. Mimosa Cottage is one of these.
