Sleeps 3

This large, yet cosy, apartment was built as a fisherman’s net loft over an old pilchard cellar (now a restaurant). The Old Cellars is only 10 yards from the beach and is so tucked away that it is almost unnoticed.  Situated in the middle of the village close to the pub and all the amenities you can feel immediately involved in all that is going on and yet escape to peace and quiet. Its special feature is its large lounge which has been recently restored with the bonus of uncovering an original granite inglenook fireplace.  With wooden beams and original wood floorboards this mixing of old and new makes this a very desirable place to stay.  Here you will have a wonderful holiday enjoying Cadgwith and a good base from which to explore the rest of Cornwall.

Accommodation:  Entrance porch leads to Kitchen/dining area with electric cooker, washing machine, microwave, fridge.  Small dining table and chairs.  Colour TV.  Shower room:  with shower, WC and washbasin.  Double bedded room:  prettily furnished light room. Leads to Lounge with comfortable sofas (one sofa bed for one extra person).  Dining table and chairs.  Wood burning stove in inglenook fireplace.  Colour TV and DVD player.  Heating:  electric heaters, night storage heaters and wood burning stove.  Parking:  Season ticket provided for the car park 400 yards away or alternatively parking can usually be found in the cove.

Guestbook Comments
Katie Lambert, August 2011
We had an absolutely lovely stay here! Went in September and were unfortunate with the weather, but it didn\'t bother us in the slightest, we were just as content to stay put (with the occasional trip to the, conveniently located, pub).
Despite the fact it comfortably fits 3 people (it\'s living room is large enough for more, and it has a proper third bed), we found it ideal as a couple. The beautiful village and local coast, along with the charm of the house itself make this a perfect romantic place to stay.
Would massively recommend the Old Cellars Restaurant downstairs. The food was fantastic and the owners very welcoming. The pub\'s also definitely worth a visit, particularly when the singers are about!
Easily reachable by public transport too (we came down from Birmingham by train and bus to Ruan Minor), although it\'s a bit of a haul back up the hill with suitcases on the way home!
