Be
very well assured there will be no fire alarms or sliding down the
pole! The Old Fire Station is a comfortable first floor apartment
in a converted Victorian fire station and enjoys panoramic views over
Falmouth Bay. St Keverne offers you a very traditional Cornish holiday
- a historic village square and church surrounded by traditional Cornish
granite cottages. There are a number of specialised shops - a grocery
store, a local butcher , Post Office and newsagent, plus two pubs
and an organic restaurant. From The Old Fire Station you are just
a few yards away from all the amenities, and only a couple of miles
to lovely beaches and picturesque fishing coves. Nearby you will find
facilities for sailing, diving and riding. The sea is never very far
away on the Lizard peninsula so St Keverne makes a great base for
a relaxing holiday.
Accommodation: Entrance: Stairs to first floor. Hallway
leads to Kitchen/Dining/Lounge area. Attractive Kitchen area
well equipped with touch hob, fan double oven, microwave, dishwasher,
washing machine, fridge/freezer. Dining /Lounge area with table and
chairs and comfortable seating. Flatscreen TV with freeview, DVD and
video. CD/radio player. Flame effect fire. One double and one twin
bedroom. Bathroom: with a new suite - bath, shower, WC and wash
basin. Heating: night storage heaters and electric fire. Special
note: there is a tumble drier in the garage. The garage also has
a line for wetsuits and is useful for storage of beach gear - windbreak,
chairs, rug, coolbox. Parking: although there is no allocated
space there are plenty of spaces along the roadside. |
