A FEW NOTES ABOUT OURSELVES

The agency was begun in 1995 by Peter Freeman and Debbie Collins who live and work in Cadgwith and the surrounding area. Many holiday cottage owners wanted a local, friendly letting service with low commission rates and someone-on-hand at all times. Cadgwith Cove Cottages offers that service and has increased from 4 cottages to 48.

Our aims are to increase the number of cottages available in the Cadgwith and Lizard area together with offering a professional and competitive service. We know this area so well that we are able to offer our customers a very personal touch. Most of our bookings are now from people wanting to return to us. Because we are so localised we are very different to the larger agencies which cover a much greater area.

Our owners receive a quarterly newsletter to keep them up-to-date with all changes. We liase with all the local businesses - our brochure includes most of them and at the same time we are stepping ahead with our own advertising and marketing. Our website www.cadgwithcovecottages.com has become a main source of bookings and enquiries and receives frequent praise from users.

The following pages include a copy of our agreement. We try to keep this simple and straightforward. It lasts for one year. There is no registration or annual subscription fee and payments are made to owners at the beginning of each calendar month as and when the deposits/balances are paid.

Every property is different so we always need to discuss the suitability of the property, the appropriate rental, housekeeper duties etc. and there is absolutely no obligation until an agreement is signed.
