Perched on the coastal footpath above Cadgwith the first pretty thatched cottage you see is Sharkey’s Cottage with its whitewashed walls and pale green windows, once the home of one of the most characterful fishermen in Cadgwith. As you look out of the windows you will see the fishing boats sailing out for their daily catch and realise that life here really hasn’t changed very much. The bonus is that the cottage is so much more comfortable now that it has been completely renovated. REAR ENTRANCE: with large storage and drying area. FIRST FLOOR: TWO LARGE VERY COMFORTABLE DOUBLE BEDROOMS; both with sea views, 5 ft double beds and wash basins. MODERN BATHROOM: with bath, ceiling waterfall shower, WC, wash basin and heated towel rail. PATIO: landscaped gravelled patio area with table and chairs. Amazing views of sea and cove. PRIVATE SEATING AREA: with garden bench to the left of the cottage catches the evening sun - perfect for a glass of wine. HEATING: electric wall heaters and two log burning stoves. TELEPHONE: incoming calls only. PARKING: space for one car in front of the cottage or if you prefer there is a permit for the public car park around 500 yards away. We absolutely loved our visit to Sharkey's Cottage. It's a really great house and exceeded our expectations. There really are no negatives. We have visited Cadgwith for the past 5 years and this is definitely the best place we have stayed bar none. We look forward to revisiting.
