Our 8th visit to Rose and come rain or shine this cosy cottage never disappoints. Going home a stone heavier following all the lovely local produce. Thank you!

Lovely place. Courtyard garden and adjacent parking on level ground a real bonus, with level access to beach and shops. First time cooking on ‘Aga’ – really easy, enjoyed it. Second bedroom would benefit from a blind on the skylight to give option of not being woken at 04.30 sunrise. Many thanks – really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic location - Cadgwith is amazing! Rose Cottage is a lovely place. Our only comment is the cottage gets very warm, especially the bedroom over the kitchen, but we coped OK. We are going home totally relaxed and can't wait until September to come back to this lovely cove. PS - Cadgwith Cove Cottages are great! PPS - go to the artisan baker - lovely bread and it goes well with the fresh crab.

Had a truly wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. It's the perfect home-from-home in Cadgwith and we will certainly return.

Our ninth Christmas in Cadgwith - first time staying at Rose Cottage. Beautiful cottage with everything you need. Will recommend to friends and family, and we will, of course, come back to Cadgwith. (Did initially have a problem with the TV but worked it out eventually).

We have visited Cadgwith every October for the last few years but our first stay in Rose Cottage. Lovely warm cosy cottage, well-equipped and fantastic location. Warm, friendly locals make the stay worthwhile. We will be back again to Rose Cottage without a doubt. Love the pub - lovely staff, great food and always look forward to folk night and quiz night. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Our third stay in Cadgwith - the best cottage we've stayed in. Love the pub, shanty singers, music. The Cadgwith BBQ is fantastic Beautiful walks/runs along the coast path. See you next year.

A beautiful week - very warm and very sunny. Thank you for the scones! New sofas much more comfortable than the old ones. TV difficult as usual - we have written instructions for operation in the Visitors Book. Lovely visit to Bonython Estate Gardens, and good meals at the Black Swan in Gweek and the Halzephron Inn at Gunwalloe. Much enjoyed our stay.

Melanie Jones, Worcestershire We had an amazing stay. We loved the cottage. It was so special and we would go again in a heartbeat. It was just what I needed to recharge my batteries.

Debbie, Dave and Benji, Lincolnshire What a gem - both the cove and the cottage (best cottage we've stayed in). We didn't want to go home, least of all Benji the Labrador!

Mr and Mrs Payton, Plymouth Beautiful cottage. We all had a lovely stay and hope to come back in the future. Cadgwith has hardly changed since we last came 35 years ago. We did find the main bedroom very hot in warm weather but overall we had a wonderful stay.

Rose Cottage has been a lovely place to stay. It’s really cosy and we felt at home straight away. The location is brilliant and we loved having the parking space outside. We love Cadgwith and will hopefully visit again.

We had a lovely holiday in Cadgwith cove. Rose Cottage was excellent accommodation, central to the cove. Lots to do in the surrounding countryside.

We have loved staying in this beautiful cottage and cove. We spent many hours exploring the local beaches, with Poldhu, Kynance and Coverack being our favourites. Also Roskilly’s ice-cream parlour and farm (great for children). It was our first trip to Cornwall and it has been amazing.

A dreamy week of just mooching around The Lizard. Breakfast at the Fat Apples café near Porthallow; swimming at Church Cove near Lizard village; fresh turbot, hake, crab and lobster from the local fish seller. Rose Cottage is ace! Big bath, a bit too warm at times, but we didn't mind. Enjoy....

Another fabulous stay. Entertainment, food and welcome at the Cadgwith Cove Inn has been top class! Spent most of our time this year around the Helford River - some lovely walks. Came across a lovely community-owned pub - The New Inn in Manaccan. See you next year.

Another wonderful New Year stay (our 11th in Rose Cottage). Weather has been mild - still so good for walking - and there have been four good folk music sessions in the pub. What more could we ask for?!

The cottage was absolutely lovely. The location was perfect and everyone was so friendly. My six-year-old daughter and I had a fab time. The weather was amazing. We will definitely come back.

Absolutely loved the holiday at Rose Cottage - perfect accommodation in the ideal setting. Enjoyed cooking on the oil range very much and our boys had no problem working out how to use the TV. Never a dull moment in the cove! Great atmosphere. Our favourite thing is snorkelling and jumping off rocks in Cadgwith. Thanks for having us.

Rose Cottage is a comfortable, charming house, and a very pleasant place to be. We've tried most others in Cadgwith, but will return to Rose. Very good exhibition at Penlee Gallery, Penzance, and excellent cream tea at Treleague Farm, Ruan Minor, with well-stocked deli-type shop.

M Hughes, Cardiff We have been to Cornwall many times but this was our first trip to the Lizard peninsula. Cadgwith is a beautiful and peaceful Cornish fishing village with an excellent pub. Rose Cottage is cosy and had everything we could want. A lovely old Cornish cottage, ideal for us and our four-legged friend. We had a lovely week.

Matt Payne, Devon Had a great time at Rose over Christmas - the cottage is really warm and cosy. Two points: the remote for the TV/DVD is very complicated, and the sofas are very uncomfortable. [Note from the owner - new sofas and a new TV are being installed - Jan 2018.]

The Hunter family, Cambridge We had a lovely time in Cadgwith. Best bits were bodyboarding at Kennack Sands and skimming stones in the cove. We enjoyed staying in Rose Cottage - its proximity to the sea is fantastic. One thing to note: the bedroom is very hot!
