Right in the heart of Cadgwith Cove you will find Vine Cottage, a traditional fisherman’s cottage set back from the road. With its many original features including a serpentine inglenook fireplace and original beams the cottage invites you in to give you a warm welcome. Walk out of the door and you are almost on a film set of a very Cornish fishing village but this is for real. You can hear the seagulls cry and the boats chugging out to sea for their daily catch and smell the salty sea air. All amenities are at hand, whether you want to buy fresh crab or have a pint and a bite to eat at the Cadgwith Cove Inn. Here is a place where you can forget the car and just relax. You know you want to!

ACCOMMODATION: Ground Floor: Enter into: Dining/kitchen with round dining table and chairs, window seat, inglenook fireplace with log burning stove. KITCHEN area: with electric cooker, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer and microwave. Half dividing wall to: LOUNGE: with comfortable seating, window seat, Sky T.V. and DVD player. BATHROOM: with small bath, overhead shower, W.C. and washbasin. First Floor: MAIN BEDROOM: with king size double bed and views over the Cove. DOUBLE BEDROOM: with Cove views. BUNK BEDDED ROOM (suitable for children only). HEATING: log burning stove and electric heaters. PARKING: Season ticket for car park. PETS: dogs welcome (maximum 2 please). OUTSIDE: small patio area with table and chairs. SPECIAL NOTES: Towels provided. High chair available. The cottage backs on to the Cadgwith Cove Inn so there may be occasional noise. There is a Right of Way across the front of the cottage. Security deposit: £100.

Lovely stay here at Vine Cottage, although we could have done with being a bit nearer to the pub!! We love Cadgwith and this cottage was perfect for the 8-day stay. Mixed weather didn’t matter. Very well equipped and comfortable cottage. Many thanks.

We had a wonderful week at Vine Cottage. It was beautifully clean and tidy and had all the cutlery and cooking utensils we needed. It’s right in the centre of the village and couldn’t be handier for the friendly pub – don’t miss the traditional shanties and Cornish songs on Friday nights! I bought fresh fish (caught in a Cadgwith boat by a Cadgwith fisherman) at the tiny shop every day and cooked it at (my temporary Cadgwith) home. There’s a lovely terrace area that gets sun virtually all day – the perfect place to read about the history of the village, including tales of secret (pirates?) treasure discovered hidden in one of the cottage walls a few years back. I cannot recommend this place highly enough!
