REVIEWS FOR LITTLE BARN

04 August 2023
This bijou cottage – small but perfectly formed – is in a great location, near Cadgwith and Ruan Minor and close to an artisan bakery and dairy/farm shop. The owners had thought of everything and we particularly liked the Cornishware and the comfy bed, as well as being able to buy their freshly picked garden produce. The weather was not very good but there were still so many things we could do – visiting local gardens and beaches, as well as Penlee House and the Morrab library in Penzance, sailing in Falmouth, taking the ferry from Falmouth to St Mawes, to name but a few. We hope to return.

Little Barn felt like home from home - wonderfully equipped, more than we expected. You know you are on to a winner when you find cake in the fridge waiting for you! Pam and Paul [the owners] are so helpful and fun. We had a totally fab hols. Thank you.

Great holiday base. A 'little gem'. Quiet and relaxing. Thai take-away excellent. We will be back.

Alison Richardson, Surrey A lovely cosy cottage. I particularly liked the proximity to the cove - a 10-minute walk, if that, and ideal for the morning dog walk. Handy having the owners on site, and a handy little shop in the village - ideal to call in and pick up a freshly baked croissant on the morning dog walk. The cottage is very quiet and extremely well equipped, with a lovely enclosed courtyard garden. I would recommend to others.

Little Barn was amazing, such a lovely place. Paul and Pam are the best hosts! I was so surprised to find a stunning Victoria sponge in the fridge for us when we arrived which was nice as it was my birthday on the Sunday so was a nice treat! My partner and I both had a fantastic time and enjoyed staying at Little Barn - just a shame we had to leave at all. But I am fairly confident that we will stay with Cadgwith Cove Cottages again in the future as you have some lovely properties in my favourite location. Thanks again for a lovely stay and huge thanks to Paul and Pam for being such lovely hosts!

A wonderful cottage, with every need catered for. We could not have been more comfortable. Loved the garden - what a suntrap (and loved the agapanthus!) Thank you for the delicious cake.

So glad we came back to Cadgwith after 18 years. The Lizard is beautiful. Little Barn is so well-equipped, cosy, with a lovely, sunny and peaceful garden. Best home made cake we have had for a long time. This place already feels like home and we will return ASAP. Thank you.

Thank you for your warm hospitality. We've enjoyed the peace, tranquillity and all the wildlife, including the friendly robin and hooting owl (and the scrummy cake!).

Jenny Keen, Devon An idyllic four days in this lovely little cottage. Very stylish with very good quality fixtures and fittings. Duck down duvet over a very comfortable double bed dressed in quality bed linen. Very comfortable armchairs and fully fitted kitchen with everything needed. The shower room is big and modern with double sized shower cubicle. The patio garden outside the double french doors catches the sun and is fully dog proof. The owners, Pam and Paul, were very friendly and helpful, but didn't intrude at all. Pam had left a delicious victoria sandwich cake in the fridge, which was most welcome. Loved every minute of our stay and we're hoping to return in May to enjoy the wild flowers on the walk down the footpath into the village.

Mr and Mrs Pearson, Worcestershire A lovely week at Little Barn. The cottage has everything you need. We particularly liked being able to take our dog and the fact that the little garden area was completely dog proof and also very private. We even had marvellous weather!
