REVIEWS FOR WELLFIELD HOUSE
04 April 2025Tucked into the hillside leading down to Cadgwith cove, Wellfield House is probably the most magical Cornish holiday home we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. The realities of everyday life are well and truly left behind the moment one steps onto the path that leads to the house, meaning once inside there’s no passing traffic noise…just the sound of the sea. Talk about getting away from it all. Inside, the house had everything we could possibly need, from the cosy real fire in the living room, a well equipped characterful kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms. There is also robust WiFi for anyone who wants to stay rooted in the 21st century! Thoroughly recommend for couples and families alike for a truly unique and ‘old fashioned’ holiday experience.Dawn and Paul, Dorset
15 March 2025We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this delightful property. The house is very well equipped, especially the kitchen, with a double oven, microwave, fridge freezer and all the utensils you could need. The living room has a woodburning stove which is very effective and in the cold week we were staying made the room very warm and cosy. There are heaters in every room so the whole house was a good temperature. There is also a superb shower and very comfortable beds. There are lovely views out to sea from many of the rooms, and especially from the top floor bedroom. The patio area, and egg swing seat, are ideal for whiling away some pleasant hours listening to the seagulls and the waves lapping on the beach. Cadgwith itself has a splendid pub serving superb food, and the South West Coast path extends in both directions, providing superb scenery and walks. Wellfield House is a great base for exploring the area, or for just enjoying a quiet getaway with lovely views and plenty of fresh sea air.Simon and Carol, Ringwood, Hampshire
